Rental information
The following information is provided for ease of reference.

Rates
All rates include VAT at the prevailing rate. They include the provision of maintenance and motoring organisation roadside assistance cover. They do not include fuel. Damage Waiver is subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.

Driver Qualification
Minimum and maximum age limits apply. A clean, valid, full driving licence is required and should be produced at the time of each rental. In the case of Credit Card style the paper part must also be produced. Certain endorsements may result in an increase in insurance charges or non-acceptance. Imperial Ford rental are not responsible for any increase or non-acceptance. Additional security checks may be required for first time and/or cash paying customers.

Insurance
All Imperial Ford rental vehicles are properly insured. A copy of the insurance policy is available for inspection upon request. We can only accept 2 minor endorsements (SP). Endorsements must be at least 5 years old to be classed as spent.

Damage Waiver Liability
The hirer is responsible for the first £750.00 of damage sustained whilst the vehicles in their charge (regardless of fault). An additional payment termed DW may be paid to reduce this liability to £250.00 per incident (regardless of blame). Please ask for details.

Payment
Pre-payment of the estimated charges, including DW charge OR insurance excess deposit, together with a security deposit to include fuel supplied at commencement of rental is required. Payment is accepted either by cash, credit card or cheque up to the value of the cheque guarantee card.

Extension of rental period
The rental period may be extended by prior arrangement before the initial period of rental expires and a further pre-payment will be required. Failure to comply with this condition may render void the insurance cover provided.

Foreign Travel
Vehicles may not be taken outside of mainland Britain without prior written permission from Imperial Ford rental. Special rates and insurance cover apply.

Vehicle Availability
Whilst every effort is made to provide the vehicle reserved, it may be necessary to substitute an alternative due to unforeseen circumstances.

Customers please note that a holding deposit will be required on every rental. Should we refuel the vehicle this will be charged at a minimum of £1.15 per litre plus VAT.
